Juniors Cut Loose at Lollypop's Playland When the Junior 2s went to Lollypop's Playland in Petone, a bus took them from school to Petone at 9.15 a.m. Everyone had a great time. Kieren (one of the children on the trip) noticed the balls in the ball pit were “all different colours” and that they were “shiny”. Kieren said that his best thing was “a short rope that lead to a slide”. Ms. Williams was one of the teachers who went to Lollypop’s Playland. I had some questions for her: What were the children learning about? “Different types of equipment used in the playground.” What did you think was the best part? “Children having lots fun, playing together and getting lots of physical activity. We had a beautiful sunny day.” Were there any problems? “Not enough room on the bus, Children had to get rides from parents in their cars.” Did anything funny or unusual happen? “Children were going crazy on all the equipment!” That’s Wainuiomata Primary School this week and I’m Jimmy signing off.
