The Buzz of Performing

In rooms 1,2,7,8 and 9 some people chose to be in Kapa Haka. On Monday the 21st of June we did a performance in the hall in front of the whole school. It was part of a Powhiri to welcome three Manuhere (visitors) from the Education Review Office (E.R.O.). I was in the second row of performers, I was happy to be there.

The school came in and sat down. When it was about to start I was so excited. It was at 9:05am when the performance started and we went for about 10 minutes. The person that lead the kapahaka was Rikki (Rikki is Mrs Porter Samules husband) Mrs Porter Samules and Mrs Neho said they were proud of all or us. It went like a flash, then everyone went to jump jam. Mrs Porter Samules said how proud she was of our performance.
